Fused Optical Coupler
Fused Optical Coupler has High reliability, High stability, High cost performance, Small encapsulation size, Low PDL, Low excess loss, Long-haul telecommunications, Various coupling ratio , Compact size
Introduction
Fused Optical Coupler are manufactured by Fused Biconical Taper (FBT) technique. The principle is that two fibers are fused by oxyhydrogen flame and pulled to subulate by using the special pulling device. Then the light inputed one length of fiber is splited to the other fiber, so is the light power. The ratio (Coupling Ratio) of the power distribution can be set as required.
Features
Fused Optical Coupler has High reliability, High stability, High cost performance, Small encapsulation size, Low PDL, Low excess loss, Long-haul telecommunications, Various coupling ratio , Compact size
The reliability of the products complies with all kinds of exprimental requirements of BellCore GR-1221-CORE & GR-1209-CORE.
Application
The Fused Optical Coupler application is widespread, mainly includes: Optical fiber communication system, Optical fiber subsystem, Monitoring system, Testing device, Sensor, CATV, LAN, etc.
